- legal opinion
- audit opinion
- intellectual property registration
- official certification by any authority
Use of Alterlayer does not guarantee compliance with:
- the EU AI Act
- GDPR
- ISO standards
- industry regulations
- national laws
- future AI regulations
Any governance scores, indicators, classifications, assessments or recommendations are informational only and must not be relied upon as legal determinations. Users remain solely responsible for their own legal, regulatory, operational and governance obligations.
3. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if:
- you are legally permitted to do so under applicable law;
- you have authority to act on behalf of an organization if using the Services for business purposes;
- your use does not violate sanctions, export controls or applicable regulations.

4. Accounts and Security

6. AI Systems and Automated Processing
Certain Services may involve automated analysis, classification, scoring, indexing or processing using machine learning, automation systems or artificial intelligence technologies.
Outputs generated by automated systems may contain:
- inaccuracies,
- false positives,
- incomplete information,
- classification errors,
- hallucinations,
- incorrect governance assessments.
Users must independently verify important information before relying on it.
7. Registry Records and Certifications
Registry entries, timestamps, certificates, audit logs or evidence records generated through Alterlayer are intended to support governance, traceability and operational evidence workflows.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- registry entries do not constitute government registrations;
- certificates are not legal title documents;
- timestamps do not guarantee legal enforceability;
- evidence records may not be admissible in all jurisdictions;
- Alterlayer does not verify factual ownership claims submitted by users.
Users remain solely responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of submitted records.
8. Intellectual Property

- branding,
- logos,
- visual elements,
- documentation,
- platform architecture,
- databases,
- text and graphics,
are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of Alterlayer or their respective owners.
Users may not:

- distribute,
- modify,
- exploit,
the Services without prior written authorization.
9. Acceptable Use

Users assume full responsibility for their use of the Services.
13. Indemnification

- regulatory violations,
- intellectual property disputes,
